So here goes ...
Today I start eating healthfully for the year. Not that I eat a lot of junk ... because I have celiac disease and I am limited to eating only gluten-free anyway ... but I have found ways to cheat and generally over eat.
Well, all that stopped today. No chips at Mexican restaurants, no more diet cokes, french fries, or anything else that I know it is not nutritionally good for me.
So far, so good ... we ate lunch at Pepper's and I didn't have any chips ... and now, I am making dinner and I am in total control of what goes into making the meal.
I am making roasted chicken breasts with black eyed pea salsa, roast potatoes and steamed broccoli.
Today wasn't so hard but I probably have a high serum count from all of the over eating I did during the holidays ;p
